Flyball
We are ultimately oriented towards competing in Flyball. However we do have club members who are just having fun with their dogs and do not plan to compete.
CCSA has been training since April 2003 and use the backwards training system. The Club regularly holds beginner classes, and often conducts demonstrations around the area to introduce flyball to the local community. You are more than welcome to come out to any demonstrations or even club practice to get a feel for the sport. Please check our calendar for current activities.
The Droolin Dragsters, CCSA’s competition team, competed in its first flyball tournament in October 2004 at the Memphis Showcase of Dogs. Our team changes with our changing membership, but we have managed to keep at least one team competing.
