October 13th found the Droolin Dragsters in Memphis for the Show case of Dogs. Fetchin Frenzi put on the Racing on the River Flyball Tournament. There was racing all three days but the Dragsters only raced Saturday and Sunday (the 14th and 15th).

We all got down there Friday, although a couple of us were really late. Half of the team stayed at a local hotel and half of us tried the Camper routine. The campers were handy (you are at the race site) and it was kind of fun even if it was a little more work.

Racing didn’t start for us until race fourteen. So we had an easy morning. Unfortunately it didn’t help our racing performance. It was just not our weekend. Mikki raced on Saturday and Blue raced on Sunday. We pulled 1 each day to allow the newer dogs to run and get experience. Blue was the only one who ran error free this weekend. Mikki was close behind with one error. Over the weekend it seemed we just all took turns to keep from getting clean runs.

In spite of it all it was a fun weekend, and we are ready to head down to Shocco Springs @ Talladega in just a few weeks.
