Clarksville Canine Sports Association was established in April of 2003. We practice flyball at 3395 Chester Stahl Road and agility at 3725 Hammacksville Road in Trenton, KY. Just about 10 minutes from I-24, Exit one in Clarksville, TN. Since April of 2003 we have worked to expand our membership, bring our training up to competition levels as well as acquire the proper equipment conducive to national level competitions. At Clarksville Canine Sports Association (CCSA) our primary goal is simple, have fun with you, your family and your canine buddy. We try to maintain a family environment where you, your family and that canine buddy will thrive and grow together. We participate in local demonstrations and activities that will gain more exposure for our dogs and owners. In addition, we have club BBQ’s and other outings where our club and our canine buddies can participate. Visit our Club news, Activities or Members pages to see more about our past and future activities. Also follow us on Facebook https://fb.me/ClarksvilleCanineSportsAssociation, or the Droolindragster.weebly.com for our flyball team dedicated web page.
The team was not able to travel together so Gary with Madison and Cassandra traveled to Houston TX to run with the Dixie Flyers. A big thank you goes out to the Lone Star Roughnecks for hosting a great tournament. And a bigger thank you goes out to Jeanne Harem, the Dixie Flyers for allowing us to run with them, and our granddaughter, Rebecca, who ran Madison. Madison ran part time all three days and got the needed points to come home with the Flyball Grand Champion Title. Congratulations Madison!
Sara and Candy have been busy working on their agility. At a Trial in Franklin, TN, this July, they pulled 6 Q’s, and earned two titles, Novice Fast Preferred and Open Standard Preferred. Great Job Sara and Candy
The Droolin Dragsters would like to thank everyone that came out to our March Tournament. Special Thanks go to our 2 judges Sandy Forseth and Jeanne Harem. They helped keep us straight. We apologize for the building issues — the bathrooms. Nothing we could do about that and it was not expected.
Thanks to Jeanne Harem and the Dixie Flyers for another great tournament. It was the first tournament running with Box Rockers on our teams. To say it was a rough weekend is putting it mildly. Our teams had growing issues and we have learned we have much more work to do. We are determined and will have a much better showing in March for our next tournament.
