Gary traveled to Decatur, AL  to compete in an AKC Agility Trial on May 18, 19 and 20.  Jack had a fantastic weekend, he qualified 5 out of 6 runs and came home with four 1^st Place, one 2^nd Place, 2 double Q’s and 2 new titles.

Flyball practice time has been moved to 12:30pm, immediately after agility classes.  It will run until about 2:30 or 3:00.  We are trying to avoid some of the heat.

The Dragsters headed back to Chattanooga to compete in the Smokey Mountain U-Fli Qualifer March 10^th and 11^th. The Qualifier was on Saturday and The Dragsters pulled first in Division 9 – we are going to the Nationals in August! Rebecca came up from Georgia to help with the box loading and running dogs and brought a friend with her. We kept them busy as well as new team members Edie and Joe Blackmon. They were back this weekend to run Mandy in singles. Mandy ran preflight and although she didn’t complete all her runs we have a new team member to help us in August. We had a great weekend culminating with Houston pulling in enough points that he is the #1 rated English Cocker in U-Fli!! Way to go Houston!

Gary and Beth traveled down to Murfreesboro, TN to compete to compete in a NADAC agailty trial at the MTSU Tennessee Livestock Center hosted by K9 Sports of Tennessee on February 11th & 12th.  Beth’s Keira came home with one 2nd Place, one 3rd Place and one 4th Place.  Ky came home with 4 Q’s, two 1st Place, six 2nd Place, one 4th Place, and one new title.  Gary’s Mikki came home with three Q’s, four 1st Place, two 2nd Place and one 3rd Place.  Jackie came home with five Q’s, eight 1st Place, one 2nd Place, one 3rd Place and one new title.

The Droolin Dragsters traveled to Chattanooga, TN to compete in the Crazy Train 2012 NAFA flyball tournament February 25^th and 26th. For two members, Steve Varner and Kara McHugh,newly home from Afghanistan, it was their first flyball tournament since returning stateside. It was great to have them safely back and competing with the team again. We were running open class and had a guest dog running with us to complete the team. Lee Short and her Welsh Corgi, Brigitte, made a great addition to the team, and we are grateful for their help. The team cut about 1 ½ seconds off our seed time which made for a great weekend
